Scope of Works:
HH Civil were contracted by Downer utilities to complete approx. 1.5km of 560mm and 710mm OD sewer rising and gravity main as well as cast in-situ manholes. Temporary and permanent access tracks from Flagstonian Drive to SP151 were also constructed. The project commenced in Jan 2020 and was completed ahead of schedule in early May 2020.
Project highlights:
During this project, HH Civil marked the first time that explosives were used in Logan Water Alliances 10-year history. This blasting fragmented the hard rock, allowing for quicker and easier excavation. A trencher was used successful for pre-trenching and filling, resulting in swift pipeline installation and structure construction.
The Project was completed incident free and ahead of schedule despite significant rain delays and COVID-19 restrictions
